Family: I am blessed to be happily married to Eric. We have three daughters, Taylor (12), Jordyn (6) and Reegan (4). Cant leave out Cavalli our rat terrior.
History: Eric and I were both born and raised in southern California. We met singing in our church choir. We moved to Kernersville NC in 1998. Never in a million years did I see myself moving out of Cali. Our move here was the first time I can honestly say that I watched Gods hand miraculously move. Every door opened for us to move here, so we did! We started attending the Summit in late 2000, and have been here ever since.
Education/Ministry: I am formally trained as an open heart surgery nurse. However I haven’t practiced in a couple of years. I currently teach Surgical Technology in the community college system, and in my spare time I am working on a Masters in Business degree from ECU.
I grew up in church and even volunteering in childrens ministry since I was in 5th grade. I didn’t understand the full extent of Gods love and grace until my late teens. Its funny where God leads you sometimes. Had you told me three years ago that I would be in ministry I would have laughed. Through some twist and turns in life, I am proud to be a part of the Summit team.
Key Peeps: Eric is my best friend, and at the risk of sounding cliché, he completes me. We balance each other perfectly. My mom is my rock, she is an excellent role model of the Proverbs woman. My spiritual growth was greatly contributed to my youth pastor Francis Chan. These three people have motivated me, kept me grounded, and kept my eyes on above.
Inside Scoop: I will forever be a USC Trojan fan….sorry NC. I can touch my tongue to my nose, and I have a very loud sneeze. The simple little things make me happy, like when Eric backs the car into the garage for me in the mornings….little things like that make me smile. I love to cook, decorate for Christmas, and make up stories at bed time with my girls. Although if you ask my girls what I like, they will say, I love to give them chores to do!
