Family: Married to Colin on August 14,1999. One son: Colby (3)

Personal History: I am a Northern gal! I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and placed my trust in Christ as my Savior at a young age. As I grew older, some tough life experiences allowed me to encounter God in a new and fresh way, growing my relationship with him. I met my husband in college and we’ve been married for over 8 years. In the spring of 2006 my husband was approached regarding a transfer position in the Triad. After much prayer and consideration, we felt that God was leading us to pursue new opportunities and we relocated to Winston-Salem in September 2006. Even though I am northerner at heart, I have fallen in love with all the Triad has to offer our family.

Educational & Ministry History: Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications: Anderson University. My professional background is in marketing, advertising and event planning. My family has been involved with planting two non-denominational churches, where I served in assisting children’s and youth ministry.

Key People: My husband, Colin: I am so thankful that God blessed me with a man who is perfectly suited for me. He is my best friend and my greatest encourager. He has supported me through tough times and I can’t imagine my life without him. My son, Colby: His arrival healed a hole in my heart and his love for life keeps things in perspective for me. My Mom: in the short 26 years I had with her, she impacted my life in a way only a mother is able. Her life was truly an inspiration to me.

Fun Stuff: Quiet dinners out with Colin, being with friends, shopping, playing on the beach with Colby, sailing on a boat in Maine, vacationing, singing and praying with Colby at bedtime.

Favorites: Watching Colby explore the world around him, date nights with Colin, the ocean…especially being on the coast of Maine, going to the movies, Dunkin Donuts coffee, LOST, anything chocolate!

Makes me laugh: Children…especially my son! The Office, reality TV.

The Inside Scoop: I hate clutter. I enjoy bringing organization to chaos. I held the record for the girls 100 meter dash in high school for 7 years.

Books you should read: “In the Grip of Grace” by Max Lucado; “Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith” by Anne Lamont; “Shattered Dreams: God’s Unexpected Pathway to Joy” by Dr. Larry Crabb.

Before I die: I would like to own a vacation home on the coast of Maine. I’d love to sail around the the British Virgin Islands one more time with Colin, and also visit the Greek Isles. I would like to see a cure for cancer. I want to see my son and future grand children accept Jesus as their Savior.
