We are a non-denominational church and are not governed by any other outside organization or association. People who attend The Summit come from a variety of denominational backgrounds and many have never been to church before.
We are distinctly Christian in our beliefs and doctrine, looking first and foremost to Jesus as our example in all things. For a more detailed explanation of our statements of belief, click here.
We want you to dress comfortably as a part of enjoying our relaxed atmosphere. You’ll find people wearing everything from shorts all the way to an occasional tie. We encourage you to come as you are and dress however you’d like.
Our services last for about an hour and are different from week to week, depending upon the theme for the day and the current teaching series we’re in. It’s important to us to make each service exciting, engaging, and relevant to your daily life. Expect music, lights, and video in addition to a relevant and challenging message from God’s Word. And no matter where you are, you can always watch one of our services live or on-demand at thesummitchurch.live!
Yes, our age-specific ministries are focused on meeting the spiritual needs of your children. The Peak is our ministry for children from 6 weeks through Pre-K, and KidSummit is for children in K-5th grade. Both are offered simultaneously with our weekend services. Middle and high schoolers can check out our Impact student ministry for an experience designed just for them. Your teens can also enjoy our main services on the weekend.
Your life is probably complex and packed enough already. At The Summit, we strive for simplicity. Many churches keep their people busy with “church” activities and events throughout the week; however, lots of activity doesn’t always equal effective ministry. Our weekly services are our main event each week. They’re designed to be fresh, engaging, and spiritually challenging to your walk with God. At the same time, we believe everyone has a next step. We encourage you to not only attend a weekly service, but to also take your next step and engage with us in loving first:
The Peak exists to create a safe, engaging, and loving environment for our youngest guests (6 weeks-Pre-K) to learn that they were made by a great big God who loves them and wants to be with them forever!
Find your people and share the love in your community.
