TAKE THE GIVING CHALLENGE

Frequently Asked Questions

First and foremost, giving is an act of faith and obedience. The first ten percent of our income goes back to God, the Giver of everything. He uses these gifts to further His Kingdom’s purpose here on earth, but by giving God our first and our best in an area so important to us, the most amazing thing to happen takes place in our own lives.

Learn more in this 4 week series called “Count On It”, where Pastor Jonathan fully explains the “Why” behind giving as it relates to the money issues we all experience.

We’re asking everyone to go to the next level of financial giving over the next three months, during September, October, and November. Prayerfully consider how you will increase your financial giving during our Three Month Giving Challenge and go to a new level of resourcing God’s Kingdom work in the Triad and beyond.

If you set up a recurring gift through PushPay or through bill pay with your bank, understand that the gift will automatically continue beyond the three-month period unless you end the recurring gift, or contact Finance at finance@thesummitchurch.net.

The Three Month Giving Challenge period begins now and ends November 30, 2024.

At the end of the challenge period, if for any reason you are not convinced of God’s faithfulness to bless you and meet your needs, you can request a refund of the full amount of contributions made during the challenge period, and you will be refunded in full.

Your gift must be given through our online or mobile giving app, bill pay through your bank, personal check, or cash with a completed giving envelope, so that your gift can be properly accounted for and credited to you. Stocks, bonds, and land are also great ways to give! Contact us for details.

Refunds will be given for any contributions given during the challenge period. You cannot seek a refund for any contributions made prior to the challenge period.

To request a refund, contact our Financial Administrator, Brenda Carico at finance@thesummitchurch.net. Submit your request in writing, through email, or letter delivered to the church office within one month from the close of the challenge.
