Hello Summit Family,

I hope you had a great Easter celebration! It was wonderful to worship together, even though we couldn’t be together in person. Ok, confession here: Although I am beyond grateful for the technology we have that makes our online services/messages possible, there is just simply nothing like being together in person, seeing each other’s faces, and enjoying the presence of God, together. Yes, I miss us that way. I greatly look forward to us being together again; but until then, online it is!

Now that we are a month or so into this “stay at home” mandate, the reality of this COVID-19 crisis is setting in more than ever. And some, if not many, of you are facing a crisis and needs of your own. If so, we’d like to know so we can partner with you in prayer. Go to our website and near the center of the page, click the “Request Prayer” button and let us know how we can be praying for you. “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” – James 5:16 (NLT)

Here’s what you need to know this week:

New Series: All relationships are challenging; they just are, especially if you want them to be great. However, they don’t have to be so complicated; in fact, God’s way of doing all relationships is fairly simple. We’re going to simplify all your relationships (dating, marriage, parenting, family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and even enemies) in our new series that starts this weekend called, “Life Hacks: Relationship Edition.”

Be a Groupie: And “Life Hacks: Relationship Edition” is a Group series and the perfect opportunity for you to get into an online group, talking about all our relationships. Yep, you can be in your pj’s and you don’t even have to shower. Simply text CircleUp to 41411, or visit our website or app, and we’ll help you become a virtual groupie! Why? Life is better together!

Through, not just To: Did you know that when you give to The Summit, you are actually giving through The Summit to local agencies all around the Triad and even beyond? The money you give goes to help so many people in need. People are being fed, clothed, encouraged, and cared for through your giving. So when you give to The Summit, it doesn’t end here with us. You are giving through us, just as God planned for needs to be met: through His church. You can give by clicking here.

Stay Socially Connected: Even though we are socially distancing, you can still be “social.” Follow your Summit location on social media. Also, you can click here to subscribe to our YouTube channel and be notified anytime we upload anything new. And our website is still the best place for you to go for all things Summit during this time: updates, watching online messages, ways to get involved, Peak, KidSummit, Impact, and online giving.

See you this weekend online for week one of “Life Hacks: Relationship Edition.” Virtually, everyone will be there! (Get it?! :))

Wash your hands. Trust the Lord.
